MOMO – which operates the popular MOMO Riverfront Park restaurant in North Charleston – has signed a 5-year contract to take over the Crowfield dining operation. A full sit-down restaurant opening will take place after ongoing renovations at the club are completed this fall.
Goose Creek City Council approved the agreement with MOMO at its monthly workshop Tuesday.
MOMO Crowfield will create a new and vibrant food and beverage experience. “This is exciting not just for people who play golf or live in Crowfield … it’s exciting for all of us,” Goose Creek Mayor Greg Habib said. “We have listened to what our residents want, and this agreement delivers.”
“MOMO is an ideal partner for our club and for the City,” Crowfield General Manager Troy Sanders said. “We have heard from our current customers about what they would like to see the dining experience include, and MOMO fits that bill to a tee. We are looking forward to the community supporting a really good restaurant in Goose Creek.”
Bringing in an outside restaurant will reduce costs for the City, which has operated the restaurant and bar area of the golf club for years. All food and beverage employees will be under the restaurant’s control.
MOMO Crowfield took over the operation of the bar on July 1.
“We are thrilled to be working with the City of Goose Creek and its leadership to assume the food and beverage operations at Crowfield Golf Club,” MOMO Chef and Owner Justin Moore said. “Goose Creek is where it all began for us, so it’s an honor to have the opportunity to serve the community in the beautiful, renovated clubhouse and outside bar pavilion.”
Crowfield Golf Club is owned and operated by the City of Goose Creek, and is open to the public.
